Money Transfer

Interchange is an agent for Western Union, and provides a fast, safe and reliable money transfer service in over a thousand well-situated outlets across Europe, in Hong Kong and in the French Overseas Territories. In Austria we run a network of sub-agents all over the country and the service is available in a total of 50 branches.

VAT Refunds

Non-EU residents can get their VAT refunded in cash at our branches in Vienna Airport, if your goods were bought from a retailer that does its refunds through Global Blue, Premier Tax Free or Tax Free Austria.

To get your refund, take the tax refund form issued by the retailer, together with the goods purchased, the receipt and your passport, to the customs post at Vienna Airport. Customs must put an export stamp on your refund form. You may then go to an Interchange branch for your refund.*

Student discounts

If you're a student, we'll help stretch your limited budget. When you show your student card, we'll give you give you preferential rates for your currency.

Buy-back guarantee

In Austria, we guarantee that we will buy back any travel money you have left over when you get back home, at the same rate we sold it to you.*
